Susan James joined Langley Wellington in 2005 and is Head of our Probate Department. Susan has over 40 years of legal practice experience and has been a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives since 1994. 

She specialises in private client work, including wills, estate planning, trusts, administration of estates, powers of attorney, deputyship, land law and conveyancing. She is a Trust and Estate Practitioner (STEP), a qualification given to the most experienced and senior practitioners in the field of trusts and estates. Full STEP members are internationally recognised as experts in their field, with proven qualifications and experience.

Susan’s longstanding experience in general practice ensures she can provide in-depth advice on all aspects of private client work.
