4. Financial Proceedings in Divorce

Some couples are able to agree matters between themselves, and are just seeking to have those agreements confirmed by an order of the court in divorce, or a Separation Agreement; some couples may need the help of a mediator to reach an agreement and may want legal advice whilst that process is ongoing.  Sometimes people find themselves in a position where their spouse/ partner, will just not discuss financial issues so they need more help to resolve things.
For this reason, in suitable cases, Fixed Fee Packages may be available, for instance putting in place an agreement that has been amicably reached between two people, to dealing with matters that are fully contested.   If you and your spouse/ partner have fully agreed the terms of a financial settlement, and you wish a consent order to be drawn up within divorce/ dissolution proceedings to reflect the terms of that financial settlement, our fixed fee for doing this is £595 plus VAT, and the court fee of £50.
