BOSSES at a Cheltenham-based cancer charity are celebrating gaining a new supporter.
The Leukaemia and Intensive Chemotherapy Fund (Linc) works to improve the care of cancer patients in Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and south Worcestershire.
Based at Cheltenham General Hospital, it provides financial and psychological support for people receiving intensive chemotherapy in the cancer centre in Cheltenham, as well as their families and loved ones.
Now Linc can count Langley Wellington LLP Solicitors as one of its backers after the firm, which is based in Gloucester but has just opened a new office in Cheltenham, decided it would be its nominated charity for the year.
Karen Organ, Linc's events and marketing manager, said: "It's great news for us. They're doing a full year of fundraising.
"It means that for every piece of business that comes through their door, we'll get a donation
"The money raised will go straight back into looking after our patients."
